Martin Kok
Freelance
UX Designer
Experienced Sr. UX designer from the Rotterdam area. I help companies shape meaningful digital experiences. Please see some of my work below.
Some of my work
Johnson Matthey (UK)
Johnson Matthey asked us for a much needed digital make-over. The company had dozens of outdated websites, that were hard to maintain and didn't spread one unified message they would like to put out there. They asked us to completely overhaul these websites into one, appealing global website.
Kempen
Kempen is a Dutch merchant bank with activities in the field of asset management, securities and corporate finance. In my role as UX designer at Dept I helped designing their new corporate website. The final design turned out a little bit different than you would expect from a merchant bank. It did not remain unnoticed and won several big awards for the concept & visual design.
De Postcode Loterij
De Postcode Loterij is a famous Dutch subscription lottery. You participate by using your own postal code as your personal lottery ticket. The good thing about the lottery, it donates 50% of its income to charity.
De Postcode Loterij was looking for someone to help them with the interaction and usability aspects of their new website. So that's where I came in.
Kamer van Koophandel
De Kamer van Koophandel (KvK) is the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. It keeps track of all companies and organisations that are situated in The Netherland in the public trade register. It also provides information and advice to entrepreneurs in areas such as legislation, exports, innovation or finance.
In my seven years of Dept I regularly helped the KvK out with UX and service design.
